First Lady of Guam visits Us

First Lady of Guam, Joann Camacho

First Lady of GuamFirst Lady of Guam, Joann Camacho, was at the Coalition on April 7 to see our outreach location and discuss how we help the homeless and needy. Camacho has been named coordinator of Guam’s homeless program by her husband, Governor Felix Camacho. She said hunger isn’t as serious a problem in Guam. However, she was so interested in our food distributions she came back on April 8 to talk to and help serve our guests. The First Lady then continued on to Washington, D.C., to attend a National Coalition for the Homeless meeting. Mrs. Camacho said she is very interested in sharing information with Sandy Maynes and the Coalition to help address the real problems of need in San Diego and Guam.
